The Department of Commerce will help oversee many of the nation’s broadband projects through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Much of the broadband infrastructure will be under the guidance of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration:

• National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA): The NTIA administers grant programs that further the deployment and use of broadband and other technologies in America. NTIA has overseen an investment of approximately $4 billion in projects throughout the United States to support the deployment of broadband infrastructure, enhance and expand public computer centers, encourage sustainable adoption of broadband service, and promote statewide broadband planning and data collection activities.
